Blog 8: English Language Challenges

In this regard, I would like to mention that I am not a big fan of the language, but learning English seems important to me. On the other hand, these two years that I have been studying at the online university are difficult classes to pay attention to, I am not very encouraged to see the classes and if I attend, I do not learn enough either, so regarding the English classes, they feel additional I also find it difficult to pay attention to other subjects and attend virtual classes. As for the activities that I like, I remember the videos of celebrities that I know and like, I also like the theme of these videos, I feel that it is related to my career. The problem is that the participation in classes being exclusively in English, it is a bit of shame to participate and make mistakes. Regarding the blog activity, it is a good idea to reinforce English every week, but I would like to omit the comments that should be made to other colleagues or at least reduce it to 1 comment. Blog 7: Changes to my study program

 Hi everyone, This is the second to last blog! And today I am going to talk about changes that could be made in my career.  The truth is that from the social outbreak in Chile, the idea of ​​creating a new constitution in a democratic context arose as a consequence, which is why the administrative statute that legally guides my career in its work will be changed. For this reason, I believe that the curriculum of my career should be focused on the new constitution, taking into account the new Chilean context that aspires to changes and an improvement in the state and in the public administration. I suggest that more importance be given to some subject on the profile that a public administrator should have. Blog 6: Time travel to the future

Hi everyone! Today I am going to talk about time travel to the future! I would like to go to Canada in 2030 because by then I will be 29 years old. So I imagine that i will be a salaried person who could travel to that country (with previous savings).  I would like to go to Canada because it is a developed and safe country, so I would mainly go to know tourist destinations and have a good time. My initial plan would not be to stay permanently in Canada, but to stay a few days to get to know the landscapes and people, as well as to have a good vacation and have a new experience in a developed country like Canada. Blog 5: My future job

Today I am going to talk about my future job Although I have always liked the subject of gastronomy and for the same reason, a job related to that, my thinking changed and now I think about my future as a public administrator. By the other hand, The major that i am studying are the public affairs. I would like to work in the comptroller general of the republic, specifically in the area that fights corruption and that administers illegal acts. I started to like this idea since I heard the pleasant work experience of a public administrator who graduated from the same university where I am studying, for the same reason, I imagine a safe work space but at the same time dynamic due to the effects of the social and political context. Blog 4: Post-Graduate Studies

Today I'm going to talk about postgraduate studies :) I am currently in the second year of my career in public administration and I have thought about doing a Master in Government and Public Management taught by the University of Chile. In this master's degree, students are trained to develop managerial, technical and political competencies that allow them to assume responsibilities of senior public management. So I would like to delve into topics such as strategic management and study the issue of the budget and public finances. Although I plan to do this master's degree at the University of Chile, I would like to do an exchange in another country, but the language is an obstacle, so if it were in a university in Spain it would be great. Blog 3: TV Series

Usually, I watch series on platforms like Netflix and Disney, in fact, those are my favorite platforms. Although I also watch movies or series on Prime video, but very rarely. I recently finished the series "Squid Game" and now I am watching "alice in borderland", both series on the Netflix platform. The series I am currently watching was recommended to me by the same Netflix platform after I finished watching "Squid Game", since they have similar themes. On the other hand, the series that I have seen the most times is "Sherlock". I started watching this series at school in a philosophy class, from that day on I wanted to see it from my home and I loved it. Now, I am not looking forward to the premiere of any new series, but if I am anxious to see the third season of "You" and the fourth season of "stranger things", I liked both series very much. The best concert ever

 Hi everyone! In this post, I am going to talk about the best concert ever for me. I remember that date of this concert, was on 25th May 2018 in “Estadio Nacional”, ubicated in Santiago, Chile. I was happy that day, for the first time, I went to the concert of "Harry styles", one of the five members of the boy band "One Direction". Currently is a singer, compositer and actor, also, as adittional information about him, he went to audition for the UK television show The X Factor, where the judges combined him with four other young male singers to form One Direction.  For this concert, he made a solo splash in 2017 with his debut single "Sign of the Times". So, in that moment I wasn't the only fan who wanted to see Harry Styles, also there were thousands of fans waiting to see him in Chile.
